Prestige Staffing is on the lookout for a Revenue Cycle Coordinator in Birmingham. This role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a fulfilling and dynamic setting. This position is contract-to-hire, with compensation commensurate with experience.

Compensation: $19+/hr based on experience

Work Environment: Onsite, Birmingham

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute billing and collection tasks by liaising with providers, payors, and patients.
  • Investigate and analyze claims.
  • Collaborate with payor and provider offices regarding payment denials, rejections, and payment accuracy.
  • Process EFT, check, and credit card payments.
  • Input patient insurance details into practice management software.
  • Establish primary and secondary insurance information on patient profiles.
  • Submit claims to insurance entities.
  • Handle insurance payment processing.
  • Prepare records and appeals as necessary.
  • Generate and distribute patient statements.
  • Manage outstanding claims reports.
  • Respond to phone inquiries to assist patients and referring providers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical billing and insurance is essential.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and dependable.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
