Medical City Healthcare is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Resource RN to provide high-quality patient-centered care. As a Clinical Support Resource RN, you will play a vital role in supporting new graduate nurses and those transitioning to a new specialty. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform rounds on each nursing unit to assess the quality of patient care.
  • Identify nursing educational needs and provide guidance and education on the hospital's standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures.
  • Escalate concerns about nursing skills, patient care, policies, processes, and equipment as appropriate.
  • Ensure that nurses within scope of support have a clear understanding of how to integrate patient experience into nursing practice.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Critical Care in an acute care setting.
  • Charge or preceptor experience is preferred.
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact.
  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, or Satori Alternatives Management must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
