Leidos is committed to enhancing global safety. This mission begins with empowering our clients in the Defense Sector to fulfill their essential objectives. The Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking an Aviation Maintenance Operations Supervisor. This role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in support of the HR3DGI initiative. In this capacity, we configure, staff, deploy, and sustain FAA-certified aircraft for both domestic and international collection of high-resolution, three-dimensional geospatial data that Leidos processes, disseminates, stores, and maintains to enhance military planning.

Incumbents may also be required to operate in settings where there are high noise levels, potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical hazards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aircraft maintenance operations by forecasting and scheduling all necessary inspections and repairs for Airframe, Engine, Propeller, and Landing Gear.

  • Monitor the shipping, receiving, and distribution of aircraft materials.
  • Conduct research on Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB).
  • Act as the point of contact for personnel deployment schedules.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to arrange necessary services.
Qualifications:
