Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at a major international airport. Our Security Officers play a crucial role in maintaining safety protocols and ensuring compliance with aviation security regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of airline equipment to identify unauthorized items.
- Screen cargo utilizing designated methods as per client specifications.
- Monitor aircraft, perform passenger wanding, and oversee gate security as required.
- Observe and assess unit activities and surrounding areas when not engaged in inspection duties.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Report directly to the Operations Supervisor or Manager based on unit size.

Shifts:
Morning & Afternoon shifts available

Compensation:
$19.00 per hour

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
- Completion of an FBI fingerprint check and a thorough 10-year background verification is mandatory.
- Candidates must not have any convictions related to FAA Disqualifying Crimes.
- Ability to lift, bend, and push up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Minimum age of 18 years and a valid U.S. driver's license required.

Additional Information:
New hires will have a $25 deduction from their first two paychecks for a SIDA badge deposit, refundable upon badge return upon termination.

Communication Skills:
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.

Work Environment:
Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
