Position Overview

As a Field Service Technician at Coinstar, LLC, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep and servicing of our kiosks across your assigned area. Your daily responsibilities will encompass preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and the secure transportation of coins and cash. This position demands exceptional time management abilities and the flexibility to adjust to evolving priorities and situations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on kiosks
  • Diagnose and rectify electromechanical malfunctions
  • Evaluate kiosk components to verify operational efficiency
  • Oversee field change requests and service inquiries
  • Safely manage the transportation of coins and cash
  • Foster positive relationships with customers
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks promptly

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or an Associate Degree in electronics
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair
  • Fundamental understanding of computer hardware and software

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Adaptability to changing tasks and priorities

Additional Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification (CMV)
  • Successful completion of background checks, MVR, and drug screenings

Physical Demands

This position requires operating a van or truck, managing coin bins weighing up to 600 lbs., and engaging in various physical activities. Consistent communication with team members is vital.
