Job Title: Elementary Teacher

Friendship Public Charter School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them achieve academic success.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Elementary Teacher to teach students in grades K-6. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Develop and implement assessments to measure student progress and understanding
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in education
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience teaching in an urban setting
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
