Role Overview:

As an SQF-certified food manufacturing facility, we are in search of a qualified Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for all maintenance activities related to preventive upkeep, repair, optimization, and installation of both existing and new machinery, while adhering to safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of tasks to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Oversee mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to workplace safety and environmental policies.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow GMP guidelines while working in various environments.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting (experience with food processing equipment is preferred).
  • Strong skills in pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance; familiarity with PLCs and VFDs is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform welding tasks.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision while maintaining integrity.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and electrical systems.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of industrial equipment.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Exceptional hand/eye coordination.
  • Able to work in a warehouse with varying temperature conditions.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally above shoulder height.
  • Comfortable working in environments with light dust, flashing lights, and moving machinery.
