Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to join our team at Jobot. This role is a key player in our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our machinery and equipment are always operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify the causes of mechanical failures and develop appropriate corrective actions.
  • Use SAP to manage maintenance schedules, track equipment performance, and document maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement reliability analysis methodologies to predict potential failures and recommend preventive measures.
  • Participate in the design and installation of new equipment, ensuring it meets reliability and maintenance requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in mechanical engineering and maintenance techniques to ensure the company's practices are up to date.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar maintenance management system.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of adhering to safety standards.
