Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Pacifica, California area. As an SLPA, you will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of speech therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients, including individual and group sessions.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • A valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license or certification in the state of California.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred.
  • Experience working with AAC devices is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IEPs.
