Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in the Pacifica, California area. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
About the Role:
- This is a full-time position working with a K-12 caseload.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and be familiar with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- They will assist in implementing speech therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and provide direct therapy services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing prehensive treatment plans for clients.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to meet client needs.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to ensure effective communication and treatment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field (or Associate's degree in SLPA program).
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license or certification in the state of California.
- Experience working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices preferred.
Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
