Job Summary

Wild Mind Ales is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to cover the Duluth, MN market area and other Northern Minnesota areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in craft beer sales and a passion for the THC industry.


Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with on and off premise accounts in key areas throughout Minnesota.
  • Develop and execute a promotional calendar to drive sales and distribution.
  • Work closely with distributor sales reps to educate and gain placements in liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and grocery stores.
  • Identify new opportunities with distributors and maintain clear communication of brewery capabilities and goals.
  • Plan and execute fun and engaging promotional events, including tastings with retailers.
  • Monitor and report progress of sales goals and target accounts using data analytics tools.
  • Effectively communicate brewery offerings to new retailer partners and encourage rebuys and track depletion in other states.
  • Work closely with the brewing team to create sales goals and strategies.
  • Meet with prospective retail, contract, and private-label accounts to discuss sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the production team to support sales goals and maintain inventory levels.
  • Meet regularly to analyze and track sales goals and targets.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of craft beer sales or alcohol industry experience required.
  • A working knowledge of the Midwest territory.
  • Passion for craft beer and THC.
  • Ability to regularly lift cases and maneuver full kegs when required.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in autonomous fashion.
  • Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and clean driving record.
  • Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level computer skills with working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Lilypad.
