Job Title: Market Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Development Manager to join our team at Generac Power Systems. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market share in the commercial construction, infrastructure development, energy, and other key end markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with major end market accounts
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to maximize share and margin
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and GMP support teams
  • Partner with Product Managers to advise customers on specification based on application and technical needs
  • Maintain sales records in CRM and provide accurate forecasting information
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 4 years of related field experience calling on larger equipment, construction or engineering companies
  • Ability to travel 50-70% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in business-to-business wholesale and wholesale rental industry
  • Working knowledge of OEM / Distribution model
  • Experience in the power generation, heavy equipment, or industrial equipment industries
