We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Executive to join our team at OEC Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for executing full sales lifecycle processes, from pre-work to detailed discovery conversations and informative meetings, to identify the needs of prospective clients and provide trusted advice on their freight forwarding needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking.
- Present OEC Group's service offerings, including Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
- Meet monthly revenue quotas given by Sales management.
- Collaborate with CRM Specialists to create sales presence in the local market.
- Maintain communication with internal teams and overseas offices.
- Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience directly selling Ocean and/or Air services within a freight forwarder.
- Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
- Solid understanding of local territory and market opportunities.
- High emotional intelligence, personal integrity, and hunter mentality.
- Ability to travel (locally) to meet with clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
