Job Title: Director of Information Governance

At Davis Wright Tremaine, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Governance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information governance program that aligns with our firm's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for information governance that supports the firm's business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain firm-wide information governance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with information governance policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on information governance best practices.
  • Monitor and report on information governance metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to information governance.
Requirements:
  • BA or BS degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certified Records Manager (CRM) or Information Governance Professional (IGP) certification preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in records and information management, with direct supervisory experience of teams.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Experience with records management systems and document management systems.
  • Experience with governance of M365, especially Microsoft Teams, strongly preferred.
