Job Title: Data Governance Engineer

An insurance client is seeking a Data Governance Engineer to join their team. The team is dedicated to ensuring effective quality and governance of data within the Data Governance office and Enterprise Data & Analytics teams.



Key responsibilities include maintaining and designing data quality frameworks, integrating cloud and on-prem data sources with data catalogs, and ensuring quality data management.



Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience with core governance tools, cloud experience, and programming languages. They must be comfortable working core PST hours.

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Governance Engineer
  • Proficient in data governance tools and platforms such as Collibra, Databricks Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, etc.
  • Strong Azure cloud experience
  • Senior experience with Python, and/or SQL
  • Effective stakeholder and collaboration skills
