We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Construction Manager / Superintendent to lead these pivotal projects.

The Electrical Construction Manager will oversee project tasks based on the provided proposals, ensuring effective communication with clients and contractors while coordinating resources to achieve project goals. Experience in leading projects within the Agribusiness, Food Production, or Industrial Manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and direct activities related to the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Engage with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to address and resolve work procedures, complaints, and construction challenges.
  • Support project delivery strategies and timelines.
  • Develop project schedules in logical sequences and allocate time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Manage project procurement, contractor selection, and assist with contract documentation and modifications.
  • Implement quality assurance and quality control plans.
  • Oversee safety management protocols.
  • Facilitate the building permit process and ensure compliance with relevant codes.
  • Lead weekly construction meetings to discuss project progress.
  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Review contractor payment applications and recommend payments to clients.
  • Generate and monitor cost reports for client transparency.
  • Coordinate the preparation of punch lists and project close-out activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Manage complexity in conventional practices while addressing various intricate features.
  • Exercise decision-making on technical issues and methodologies, seeking approval for proposed project plans and general direction on unusual challenges.
  • Supervise and provide direction to junior technical staff and others involved in specific assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline, accompanied by four years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of a state construction supervisor's license, completion of a 30-hour OSHA safety training course, and CMAA certification.
  • Proficiency in navigating web-based construction management software.
  • Experience in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining project records.
  • Strong understanding and utilization of Information Technology, including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a clear and logical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
