Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize company-provided technology to manage and complete various maintenance work orders as directed by the Community leader.
- Execute unit turns efficiently as instructed by the Community leader.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests and document detailed notes in the work order tracking system.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations within the district, which may include being part of an on-call rotation.
- Maintain necessary certifications as required for the role.
- Uphold the community standards set by the company.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience is required.
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is essential.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
- Strong understanding of maintenance and repair processes, with a commitment to providing excellent resident experiences.
- Adaptable and flexible problem-solving skills are crucial.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves extensive walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations will be made for talking, seeing, and hearing.
Work Environment:
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors, requiring travel between communities as needed. Indoor tasks will often take place in residential areas or maintenance shops, while outdoor work will cover community grounds and shared spaces.
