Position Summary:

The Apartment Leasing Consultant plays a crucial role in showcasing available apartment homes, supporting local marketing initiatives, and engaging with prospective residents. This position emphasizes outstanding customer service and effective communication with both residents and team members. Responsibilities also include preparing lease agreements and organizing community events. The Leasing Consultant collaborates closely with the Neighborhood Manager and maintenance personnel to ensure an optimal resident experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tours of apartment homes for potential residents.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email.
  • Stay informed about neighborhood promotions, pricing, and necessary adjustments.
  • Arrange meetings with residents to discuss lease renewals and options.
  • Inspect units prior to resident move-in.
  • Complete necessary move-in documentation.
  • Process lease applications and communicate with prospective residents.
  • Maintain well-kept grounds and address maintenance concerns.
  • Adhere to company standards regarding documentation, resident files, budgets, and expense management.
  • Travel between Redwood communities as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proficiency in general computer use.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales or leasing.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Familiarity with smartphones, tablets, and computers.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, bending, and walking.
