Job Summary

Oversee the day-to-day administration of the Gadugi Corps Program, assisting in the implementation and execution of projects that foster collaboration and engagement across multiple sectors to improve the lives and well-being of Cherokee Nation citizens and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Program Assistants, CSR's, Work Experience Participants, and Volunteers
  • Execute events such as academic camps, mentorship coordinating, tutoring coordinating, and volunteer projects with on-reservation volunteers
  • Assist in implementing and executing projects to create a vision of volunteerism, identify community assets and resources, and develop volunteerism priorities
  • Develop and maintain a repository of volunteers, services, and funding opportunities for community service, mentorship, and disaster preparedness/response
  • Organize volunteer and service-oriented programs, and promote existing volunteerism and service-oriented programs
  • Carry out activities to meet the goals and objectives of the Gadugi Corps
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and guidelines for program operations
  • Participate in the implementation and execution of special projects assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, or six (6) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license
