Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control and Monitoring: Check visitors in using a valid form of identification, provide assistance to residents, guests, and visitors, and maintain visual contact with entry points.
  • Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct hourly foot patrols on the entire building, monitor security cameras, and address any suspicious activities.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, such as fires, medical emergencies, and activated alarms, and provide assistance to residents, guests, and visitors.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain logs, prepare incident reports, and communicate with management and public safety authorities as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service through warm greetings, suitable recommendations, and improvised solutions.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the building by performing various cleaning duties throughout the property.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, one to two years of related experience (law enforcement, first aid, security) or equivalent.
  • Skills and Abilities: General knowledge of security operations and procedures, fire safety, CPR and First Aid training, report writing experience, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to work independently and as a team member.
Work Environment

The work environment is a residential setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, people, and equipment. The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, talking or hearing, and tasting or smelling. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 80 pounds.
