About the Role

Universal Health Services is seeking a highly experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our Acute Care Division. As a key member of our division leadership team, you will be responsible for assessing the status of nursing practice, conducting quality improvement activities, and integrating clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for Nursing that optimizes patient care and quality outcomes
  • Partner with the Chief Medical Officer and other stakeholders to drive improvements in clinical quality and safety of care
  • Work collaboratively with HR to develop an orientation and onboarding program for nursing and ancillary staff
  • Create nursing development and leadership development programs to ensure growth and opportunity for the nursing staff
Requirements
  • Minimally 8 years of executive level nursing experience in a combination of clinical and operational leadership roles within an acute care setting
  • BSN, valid RN license, and Master's degree in business, nursing, or a related area
  • Ability to travel 50%+ of the time
