About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Lead to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site development projects, from initial conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of civil engineers and technicians in the planning, design, and implementation of site development projects.
  • Utilize Civil 3D to create detailed, accurate, and efficient designs for a variety of projects.
  • Oversee all stages of project development, including feasibility studies, design, construction, and post-construction evaluation.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project requirements are met and regulations are adhered to.
  • Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to complex problems.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification would be considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site development.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D or equivalent software.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Strong technical skills, with a thorough understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for developing innovative engineering solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
