POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Grounds Operations Supervisor is tasked with the comprehensive oversight and coordination of the contract, serving as the secondary liaison with the Government. This role is empowered to allocate the organization's resources as required to fulfill the contract's obligations. The Supervisor must possess the expertise, knowledge, and experience necessary to manage all facets of the contract effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the management of daily operations to ensure tasks are executed in alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure compliance of all organizational personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers with contractual stipulations and governmental regulations.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact with the Government, authorized to make decisions regarding the contract, excluding modifications to key elements (e.g., pricing, scope of work).
  • Assist in overseeing and maintaining the contract budget while evaluating processes for operational efficiency.
  • Help in personnel scheduling, time card approvals, and inventory management of supplies, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Guide employee expectations, conduct reviews and counseling, and implement process improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Facilitate Employee Performance Evaluations through the payroll system within designated timeframes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and provide training for equipment operation, supply usage, and performance work statement requirements.
  • Analyze and uphold the contract's AbilityOne Ratio requirements through appropriate scheduling of hours worked by disabled versus non-disabled employees.
  • Assist in preparing Limitation & Accommodation Quarterly Reports for each AbilityOne employee.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to facilitate the AbilityOne Program with the relevant department.
  • Support the execution of reports, inspections, and logs as mandated by the contract.
  • Provide field data and specifications to aid in the preparation of estimates for any new work additions or deletions to the contract.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Maintain any required security clearance and adhere to the Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Ensure compliance with Operations Security (OPSEC) standard operating procedures.
  • Manage the Property Control Plan for Government Furnished Property (GFP).
  • Implement a safety and health program that meets EM and applicable OSHA, DOD, Armed Forces Branch(s), and federal, state, and local safety, environmental, and health regulations.
  • Develop a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP) in accordance with established guidelines.
Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
