Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth, and increasing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with key buyers from our customers to discuss business opportunities and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Evaluate product assortment and recommend sales strategies to improve product mix, placement, and promotion with top customers.
  • Partner with Southwire product teams, inventory planning, and sourcing to develop and launch new products through the channel.
  • Develop and implement quarterly promotional calendars with Southwire marketing and customer teams to drive year-over-year sales growth.
  • Collaborate with store managers, merchandising teams, and planogram planning to drive sales and improve customer experience.
  • Manage the satellite office and oversee office operations.
  • Analyze sales data, report on performance, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience by collaborating with internal teams on tasks such as new location launches, order mapping, and promotional product placement.
  • Drive customer net promoter scores by supporting the customer experience team and providing direct support to inside and outside sales teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and increasing profitability.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
