About the Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Associate to join our team at the University of Georgia. This role will provide administrative support for our TRIO Talent Search office, including typing, editing, and proofreading documents, maintaining records in the database, and coordinating clerical support for professional staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall administration of the TRIO Talent Search office, including planning and organizing administrative and clerical work.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and maintain accurate inventory of items.
  • Collect and process all applications, files, and input and maintenance of electronic database.
  • Typing, editing, and proofreading documents, attending and taking minutes at staff meetings, preparing correspondences and other documents from rough draft to final proofreading.
  • Coordinating clerical support for professional staff, including receiving and screening mail, making arrangements for meetings, and working with target school staff and administrators.
  • Maintaining and overseeing the accuracy and maintenance of program electronic databases and hard copy files for federally funded grants.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including word processing and database systems.
  • Knowledge of common office equipment, computer network systems, graphic design, and social media outlets.
