Role Summary

Endeavor Health Services is seeking a skilled School Mental Health Specialist to provide expert mental health support and services to students within the Buffalo City School District. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will offer brief interactions with students, linkages with families, assessment, screening, crisis intervention, referral, linkage with community-based programs, on-going individual and family psychotherapy where indicated, consultation, and technical assistance with educational staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health services to students, including assessment, screening, and crisis intervention
  • Link with families and community-based programs to ensure comprehensive support
  • Offer on-going individual and family psychotherapy where indicated
  • Collaborate with educational staff to provide technical assistance and consultation

Requirements

  • Qualified Healthcare Provider as defined by the NYS Mental Hygiene Code (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-P, etc)
  • One year of paid full-time post Master's experience in a child mental health agency
  • A valid NYS Driver License and access to a vehicle to make home and community visits
  • Proficiency in MS Office products

What We Offer

  • Salary starting at $46,800 - $50,700 annually ($24.00 - $26.00/hour) depending on education, experience and credential
  • Earn up to $5,000 in sign on bonuses
