Job Summary

Tricon Residential is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager - Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our maintenance technicians, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and that our residents receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to our maintenance technicians, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work meets our high standards and that our residents are satisfied with the service they receive.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our residents, responding promptly to their concerns and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Project Management: Oversee the completion of maintenance projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to our maintenance technicians, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of maintenance equipment and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to complete our tasks.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on maintenance activities, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for change.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or operations role, preferably in the property management industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Certifications: Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
