Position Overview:
  • Requesting and evaluating price quotations from suppliers
  • Engaging in price negotiations while ensuring prompt delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Creating and maintaining price comparison documents
  • Overseeing material delivery timelines and expediting orders as needed
  • Collaborating with the Quality Assurance Department for necessary inspections
  • Managing purchase orders and tracking invoice statuses
  • Addressing issues related to rejected or damaged goods
  • Facilitating effective communication between internal teams and external vendors
  • Providing translation support for Japanese-English communications
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma is mandatory; a bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with SAP is advantageous
