Job Summary:

As an Assistant General Manager at Residence Inn, you will play a key role in the overall management responsibility for the operation of the hotel. This includes team member relations, guest service, profitability, product quality, and compliance to Residence Inn standards.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in managing guest rooms, restaurant, and related areas.
Assist with operations of the hotel to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Manage the front office, guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B areas.

Key Performance Indicators:

Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
Orient and train new associates.
Conduct ongoing training of associates to increase job knowledge and skill level.
Coach associates to encourage positive behaviors and correct negative behaviors.
Promote teamwork and associate morale.
Monitor service trends by speaking with guests, reviewing written guest comment cards and guest tracking information to ensure service standards are achieved.
