Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Technician Senior to join our team at eTeam Inc. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting licensed providers with casting and medical assistance during patient scheduled clinic visits or emergency center care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply casts, splints, and perform basic hardware maintenance to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Work closely with patients and families to provide comprehensive care and education on cast maintenance and skin care after cast removal.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation meeting departmental standards.
  • Manage casting and clinic supplies, updating PAR levels as needed and communicating with the ordering team.
  • Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment by sharing responsibility for checking exam room supplies daily.
Requirements
  • Cast tech experience, with pediatric experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic aseptic technique and familiarity with orthopedic instrumentation, hardware, equipment, and casting/splitting procedures.
  • Ability to proficiently operate a personal computer and basic clinic/patient care, office equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate quick decision-making and self-initiated work behaviors.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
