Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wound Ostomy Nurse to join our team at Covenant Medical Center. As a clinical resource and consultant, you will provide expert care to patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient clinical services throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department and Wound/Ostomy Care Clinic.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote wound healing and prevent complications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in wound care.
  • Participate in education and research activities to advance the field of wound care.
Requirements
  • 2 years of acute care experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
  • Certification from the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) upon hire.
