Job Overview

PotomacWave Consulting is seeking a skilled Program Management Analyst to support a federal client in Washington, D.C. This role involves working on a hybrid schedule, with on-site visits once a week. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing schedules, providing training, interacting with clients, and collaborating with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of project assignments and activities.
  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules that align with the project's charter.
  • Contribute to program efforts in areas such as risk management, performance management, program management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure efficient and effective execution of projects by performing necessary tasks.
  • Employ expert communication skills to report on progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as prepare project management documents.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients to elicit information, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in writing contract deliverables such as Performance Management Plans, Quality Assurance Plans, and Governance documents.
  • Develop tools and templates related to project management.
  • Document As-Is processes and recommend To-Be processes for clients.
  • Analyze current processes, standard operating procedures, and multiple reporting mechanisms, and recommend improvements, efficiencies, and best practices approaches.

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of related Project Management experience or 3 years of experience and a Master's degree.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, accounting, engineering, economics, MIS, or another subject area.
  • Experience with Tableau.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and presentation skills for interacting with team members, clients, thought leaders, and subject matter experts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
  • Strong human relations skills.
  • Good strategic management and planning skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to represent the company with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Proven ability to develop performance metrics.
  • Experience providing customer support within a PMO office.
  • Knowledge of Project schedules and Process improvement.
  • Certified PMP a plus.
  • Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining a government clearance.

Salary range $80,000 - $105,000
