Position Summary

The Advertising Account Specialist is responsible for leveraging data and resources to create and enhance advertising sales materials and packages. This role involves developing proposals, presentations, and tailored packages that align with the priorities and preferences of specific market segments. The specialist provides advanced support to strategic accounts by conducting research, organizing information, and crafting presentations that align with client-specific strategies, working with moderate guidance within their area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates advertising sales by creating plans that cater to the needs of assigned clients and the sales team, targeting key clients, industries, and market segments.
  • Utilizes research data and analysis to identify the most effective multi-screen advertising solutions for targeted audiences and available inventory.
  • Develops customized proposals and pre-sales materials to effectively position advertising campaigns related to strategic accounts.
  • Collects and summarizes market intelligence relevant to sales and programming, generating and distributing sales reports to evaluate sales effectiveness for strategic accounts.
  • Collaborates with Account Executives to maintain strong client relationships and address client inquiries, troubleshooting and following up as necessary.
  • Assists local leadership with additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
  • Provides high-level support and leadership on special projects, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
  • Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
