Job Summary

As a Surgical Technologist Level II, you will assist physicians during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties. You will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician and adhere to established standards of care, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties.
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Transport patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the medical center.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
  • Assist with transfer, transport, and stabilization of patients.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and instruments.
  • Operate sterilization equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience.
  • Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Center for Competency Testing Certificate - Technologist in Surgery.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Wide experience in different surgical specialties, preferably Robotics, Ortho, and Spines.
