Job SummaryAs a Surgical Technologist Level II, you will assist physicians during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties. You will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician and adhere to established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties.
- Prepare and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Transport patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the medical center.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
- Assist with transfer, transport, and stabilization of patients.
- Clean and maintain equipment and instruments.
- Operate sterilization equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Two years of experience in operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience.
- Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
- Surgical Technologist Certificate from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Center for Competency Testing Certificate - Technologist in Surgery.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Wide experience in different surgical specialties, preferably Robotics, Ortho, and Spines.
