Qualifications for the Paint Process Engineer Position

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic, mechanical, automation, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in paint plant processes within the automotive sector.
  • At least 5 years in a comparable role in a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities of the Paint Process Engineer

  • Engage in the analysis of production challenges related to productivity and quality, recommending effective corrective actions to enhance processes in line with global standards.
  • Contribute to project meetings, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Work closely with Product Engineers to apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/A) principles, aiming to improve process efficiency and reduce costs. Actively participate in decision-making for manufacturing operations.
  • Assist in the quotation process for new initiatives, evaluating product designs to ensure optimal industrialization while assessing associated costs and investments.
  • Participate in research and development projects for new products, providing insights and solutions from a process perspective.
