Job Summary

SHR Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our client's manufacturing engineering team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced manufacturing processes and technologies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage the Manufacturing Engineering Team: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Oversee Manufacturing Systems Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing systems.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to achieve operational excellence.
  • Mentor and Develop the Engineering Team: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Compliance with Industry Regulations: Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including ISO, FDA, and other relevant guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial engineering principles. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
