About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Preconstruction Engineer to join our team at Skanska USA. As a key member of our preconstruction team, you will play a critical role in the development of cost estimates and other preconstruction services to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with preconstruction leaders to develop cost estimates and other preconstruction services
  • Perform daily estimating and planning activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects
  • Disseminate information applicable to the planning efforts and meet critical deadlines
  • Obtain quantities for building components and work as part of a team
Requirements
  • 2+ years of full-time relevant industry experience
  • 1+ year of demonstrated experience with commercial construction estimating and estimating software applications
  • Proficiency in geometry, including measures of length, area, and volume calculations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent/applicable degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience
