Position Overview
As a Lead Human Resources Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing employee relations and supporting talent acquisition efforts. You will act as an advocate for employees while impartially addressing employee relations issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert employee relations support, focusing on organizational development, performance management, and coaching.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into reported incidents and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel when necessary and draft responses to employee relations matters.
  • Oversee background check processes and ensure timely reviews for pre-employment purposes.
  • Support HR initiatives during acquisition integrations.
  • Analyze and manage employee relations data for reporting and trend analysis.
  • Review employment offers for accuracy and ensure equitable compensation across the organization.
  • Assist HR team members in managing leaves of absence and related inquiries.
  • Administer the secondary stage of workers' compensation, including return-to-work programs and claims analysis.
  • Review employment contracts and collaborate with internal or external legal counsel as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company benefits as they relate to separations and leaves.
  • Respond to inquiries from outsourced unemployment administrators and participate in appeals hearings.
  • Track and report on employee relations metrics to management.
  • Partner with management on involuntary separations, including risk assessments and execution.
  • Identify HR-related training needs and collaborate with the HR team to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Guide and advise managers on the interactive process and ADA compliance.
  • Mentor and collaborate with HR teams on complex employee relations issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience is essential, with a preference for candidates possessing six (6) years of HR Generalist experience.
