About the Role
Boise Cascade is excited to announce an opening for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our recruitment processes and ensuring effective collaboration with both external recruitment partners and internal teams. Your contributions will be vital in developing efficient hiring strategies and creating comprehensive job descriptions that align with our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support:
- Formulate and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract exceptional talent across various roles within the organization.
- Engage with department leaders to assess their staffing requirements and craft precise job descriptions.
- Leverage diverse sourcing techniques, including job boards and networking, to identify suitable candidates for open positions.
- Evaluate recruitment metrics and present findings to senior management regarding recruitment activities and results.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Design and implement standardized recruitment procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with organizational needs.
- Monitor and assess recruitment metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement and apply best practices.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Work closely with HR, hiring managers, and other internal stakeholders to synchronize recruitment efforts with business objectives.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment initiatives and vendor performance.
- Facilitate effective communication among candidates, hiring managers, and vendors to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in talent acquisition or HR coordination.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management and process optimization.
- Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR software.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience within the manufacturing or building materials sector.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Certification in HR or recruiting (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
