Position Overview

As a Business Development Specialist at 160 Driving Academy, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in various aspects of our operations, providing a pathway for professional growth and development.

160 Driving Academy stands as the largest provider of CDL training in the nation, renowned for our innovative teaching methods, exceptional instructors, and commitment to safety. Over the past decade, we have expanded to over 140 locations, creating a robust network dedicated to student success.

Your primary responsibility will be to attract and enroll students into our comprehensive CDL training program. Success in this role hinges on your ability to cultivate and sustain partnerships with trucking companies and community organizations. Additionally, maintaining precise student records and adhering to local regulations will be essential for both your success and that of the academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recruit aspiring drivers for our intensive 4-week CDL training program.
  • Conduct enrollment appointments with prospective students at our office.
  • Follow up on leads generated by our marketing and outreach teams.
  • Act as the local representative for business development and sales initiatives.
  • Establish connections with local government agencies and organizations to enhance community outreach.
  • Participate in community events and career fairs to promote our programs.
  • Support students from enrollment through to graduation, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Oversee daily operations and responsibilities at your branch.
  • Manage office opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of student records and compliance with state regulations.
  • Handle enrollment documentation and tuition payment collection as necessary.
  • Foster lasting professional relationships with students throughout their career journey.
