About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned DOD STIG Implementation Specialist to join our team at Georgia IT Inc. in Redmond, WA. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for implementing DOD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on Windows and Linux-based operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement STIGs according to specific client requirements
  2. Conduct thorough security assessments to identify system vulnerabilities and risks
  3. Work closely with engineers to remediate identified security issues
  4. Maintain detailed documentation of the STIG implementation process
  5. Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Proven experience in applying DOD STIGs to Windows and Linux-based operating systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of DOD security standards
  • Knowledge of various security tools and technologies
  • Excellent documentation skills

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
