Watertown Public Schools is seeking a qualified Support Aide for Extended Day Programs to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students in kindergarten through Grade 5. The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-age children and a passion for creating engaging activities that promote learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a smooth transition for students from the school day to the extended day program
  • Assist students with personal care needs, implement accommodations, and follow behavior support plans
  • Run behavior intervention programs and facilitate social opportunities
  • Accompany students on field trips and maintain student data as directed by school service providers

Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or coursework towards a degree
  • At least one year of experience working with school-age children
  • At least one year of special education experience preferred
