Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Troubleshoot and perform intricate repairs on industrial engines and transmissions in the field.
  • Utilize a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in field or shop service technician roles, specifically in troubleshooting and repairing industrial engines and transmissions.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service skills, effectively communicating with clients and team members in a professional manner.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
  • Be available for required working hours and potential overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Maintain a steady employment history and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Physically perform tasks that include bending, reaching, kneeling, walking, and lifting up to 60 lbs regularly.
  • Provide and maintain personal tools necessary for the role.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for additional qualifications.

Work Environment:
The role involves:

  • Wearing standard protective equipment while working.
  • Regular outdoor work in environments with moving mechanical parts and potentially loud noise levels.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
  • Working in confined spaces and at heights.

Travel Requirements:
The position requires:

  • Daily travel within the local region, with potential overnight travel as needed.

Licensing:
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A CDL Class A is preferred, and the ability to pass a DOT Physical is mandatory.
