Position Overview: Reporting to the Director of Residential Services, the Residential Program Manager plays a crucial role in delivering strategic oversight and direct management of the direct care staff across four residential homes. This position is essential in ensuring that clinical quality objectives and optimal care standards are met for all Agency consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Residential Services and team members to develop and implement operational plans that ensure compliance for programs serving adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Oversee the quality and effectiveness of the Residential Program staff, addressing consumer health, safety, and the upkeep of facilities.
  • Ensure consumers receive high-quality care in accordance with their Individual Support Plans (ISP).
  • Foster partnerships with guardians, support administrators, consumers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage staffing hours in alignment with the established Care Plan Template (CPT).
  • Delegate tasks and projects to Program Specialists, Site Leaders, and Direct Support Professionals at each location.
  • Facilitate meetings focused on consumer care and ensure facilities are always prepared for licensure inspections.
  • Contribute to the strategic implementation of program enhancements.
  • Be available for on-call duties and carry an Agency phone.
  • Effectively manage consumer finances and resources.
  • Provide professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Seek training and development to enhance personal knowledge and skills.
  • Implement corrective actions when necessary and monitor the progress of residential programs.
  • Offer strategic financial insights and leadership on program-related decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate budget analysis and reporting.
  • Encourage innovative practices that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a four-year degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Preferred candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in people management and direct work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Program Manager or Director role within a developmental disabilities residential setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and management skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required, along with successful completion of background checks.
  • Current Med Pass and CPR/First Aid Certification is necessary; training will be provided.
  • Must possess the energy and enthusiasm to lead in an organization committed to excellence.
  • Reliable transportation is required for travel within designated areas.
