Peer Support Specialist II

As a Peer Recovery Specialist II at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals on their path to recovery. This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pregnant and postpartum women facing substance use disorders.
With a focus on holistic care and individualized treatment, you will work closely with our clients to promote recovery, employment, education, and community integration. You will also be responsible for supporting and advocating for individuals experiencing mental health challenges, and fostering the well-being of women and their families in a residential environment.

Key Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Peer Recovery Specialist with the VA Board of Counseling (RPRS)
- At least one year of Peer Recovery Specialist experience
- Valid State Driver's License
