Your Impact:

The Membership Associate, Engagement plays a crucial role in enhancing the member experience at KCRW. Reporting to the Manager of Member Engagement, this position focuses on member interaction and overall membership operations. You will engage with both potential and existing members through various communication channels, ensuring timely responses and accurate data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with members daily through various communication platforms, maintaining an appropriate tone for each interaction.
  • Monitor and analyze member communication trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Proactively suggest enhancements to the Membership team.
  • Process various types of donations and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in all databases and assist with data integrity projects.
  • Handle member requests, including account updates and benefits inquiries.
  • Participate in testing system updates to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of KCRW's offerings and member benefits.
  • Support engagement initiatives, including campaign development and member communication strategies.
  • Represent KCRW at events, ensuring members receive exceptional service and information about membership benefits.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in membership, fundraising, customer service, or data management roles.
  • At least 1 year of marketing experience, particularly in engaging audiences through SMS and email.
  • Ability to translate enthusiasm into financial support for the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Proven ability to craft engaging and thoughtful communication for various channels.
  • A collaborative mindset and innovative approach.
  • A passion for KCRW's mission and the diverse communities we serve.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM/database management, preferably Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with email and text marketing tools, ideally Hubspot.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with project management software.
