MaxSent is seeking a highly skilled Protective Security Officer to provide top-notch security services to our clients in Baltimore, MD. As a Protective Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people and property at our client sites.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide high-quality security services to protect people and property.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, employees, and guests.
    • Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing.
    • Handle security issues and emergency situations according to MaxSent protocol.
    • Understand site-specific operations, including manuals and post orders.
    • Greet visitors and employees in a friendly and welcoming manner.
    • Answer questions and assist visitors and employees.
    • Remain flexible to ever-changing environments and adapt well to different situations.
    • Patrol the facility on foot or in a vehicle.
    • Monitor closed-circuit television systems and alarms.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Must be at least 21 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma or GED.
    • Must meet at least one of the following criteria:
    • 2 years of armed security experience within the last five years.
    • 2 years of military or National Guard service (active or reserve).
    • Successful completion of state-certified law enforcement education and training.
    • Successful completion of police officers' standard training courses.
    • Prior firearms experience is required.
    • DHS Homeland Security Federal Protective Service Clearance is preferred.
    • MD State Guard License/Permit.
    • MD Handgun Permit.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are required, with verbal and written fluency in English.
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with the ability to work independently.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
    • Neat and professional appearance.
    • Friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Ability to provide quality customer service.
    • Ability to handle emergency situations efficiently and effectively at client sites.
