Department Insights

The Corporate Accounting department is essential in delivering precise and timely consolidated financial statements, variance analyses, and account reconciliations. Our team plays a crucial role in supporting regulatory filings and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy in the recording of assets and liabilities.
- Oversee the month-end closing process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Conduct thorough reviews of monthly variance analyses and supporting documentation for regulatory filings.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting analysts, fostering their professional development.
- Lead the resolution of complex accounting issues and ensure adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and facilitate effective communication.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risks in financial reporting.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with a preference for experience in Alteryx or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a talent for creative thinking.
