Job Overview

We are currently in search of a Configuration Management Specialist to provide essential support for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate configuration control, auditing, and status reporting.
  • Assess Major Variance Requests, Specification Change Notices, Engineering Change Requests/Proposals, and related documentation.
  • Participate in meetings and offer client support as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in program management or technical/business analysis, specifically in aircraft systems configuration management.
  • Proven expertise in the configuration management process, including identification, control, auditing, and status, along with familiarity with DOD policies and standards.
  • Experience with development, production, and operational aspects of DoD and international aircraft programs.
  • Ability to evaluate various documentation types, including Major Variance Requests and Engineering Change Requests.
  • Experience in guiding and assisting with configuration management and change control processes.
  • Proficient in maintaining process metrics and ensuring compliance with DOD Data Management Program policies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Active DOD SECRET security clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the United States.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
