Job Description

The Penn State University is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented students to participate in the Pedagogical Partnership Program. As a Student Consultant, you will work closely with faculty members to improve classroom instruction and enhance the learning experience for students.

Responsibilities
  • Observe and take detailed notes on classroom practices and pedagogical issues in a faculty partner's course.
  • Meet with faculty partners to discuss observation notes and provide feedback.
  • Participate in weekly discussions with other Student Consultants to share best practices and ideas.
  • Offer mid-semester and end-of-semester feedback on the program.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Be an incoming sophomore, junior, or senior in the Agribusiness Management, Agricultural and Extension Education, Agricultural Science, or Community, Environment, and Development major.
  • Have a strong interest in teaching and learning, particularly in the classroom setting.
  • Be willing to commit to and follow through on the responsibilities of the role, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
